Assemblage are forbidden and so all the major events are forced to fade without the possibility of

live meetings in main Italian cities. But right now, it’s so important to not get lost and, as other events, we decided to make the Pride “digital” and alive.

Gay Pride is famous for its colors, costumes and the incredible energy that the LGBTQIA community brings on the streets during the parade. Today’s Gay Prides can be expected, but their history hides years of struggle and violence.

Gay Prides are vitals and necessary and we should protect them, because they give us the chance to break that social rules which, many times, are like real chains for our freedom.

"Gay is good, gay is proud.”

(Say it clear and loud. Being gay is right, being gay is something to be proud of)

Gay Pride is to stay close, it is not to be alone, it is laugh despite the pain, it is joking and color ourselves despite violence. It is being “indecent” despite the moral.

It is love in daylight, despite the stink eyes. It is the marvelous, unique opportunity and luck which happened to the best of us, and it gives us the task of still fighting for freedom. Even today, when it looks like it’s all expected, but it isn’t.

We have to fight, because there are no freedom and equality if we’re not all equals and free. It is such a beautiful and long journey and, yes, we clearly have to make it possible, together!
